Job Description

  1. Monitor and participate in regulatory developments in China, ensure legal compliance of company’s products, marketing, promotional and sales materials with regulations
  2. Provide regulatory input to local business on existing/planned new products; and any merger and acquisition activities, coordinating with business team and global regulatory team
  3. Complete administrative tasks required for submission of approvals and registrations of products in China, co-ordinate submissions locally and with global regulatory team
  4. Provide prompt and appropriate regulatory support to customers on the Company’s products
  5. Maintain a network of reliable contacts with regulatory and scientific bodies; and represent the Group's interests at appropriate trade and industry bodies
  6. Maintain excellent regulatory records


  1. Minimum 5+ years experience in regulatory affairs in the region with at least 3 years experience in a relevant position in a food/beverage company; and some experience of western corporate culture
  2. Up to date and thorough knowledge of pertinent legislation and sources, a good understanding of food safety and nutrition issues, experience of regulatory submissions to Authorities is a plus
  3. Good organizational skills, ability to show a methodical approach to administering and maintaining regulatory files
  4. Able to work alone as necessary
  5. Good team and interpersonal skills internally and externally
  6. Proficient in both written and spoken English with good communication skills
