Job Description

Establish, maintain and develop mutually profitable business relationships between our client and its customers (both external and internal) in accordance with corporate guidelines and policies. Maximize sales opportunities and maintain existing business, optimizing both revenue and gross profit growth while maintaining and growing the local markets.

  • Sell the company’s medical devices products by interacting with established larger customers (physicians, medical labs, hospitals) and proactively create growth in territory
  • Translate Business Unit strategy into local/territory action plan. Monitor sales activity, plan and prepare forecasts by account, product and therapy for the given territory as well as propose expenses for meetings and/or customer activities including Proctor visits. Monitors P&L and margins
  • Establish customer contact and strengthen relationships
  • Answer technical and procedural questions for less experienced team members; teaching improved processes; mentoring team members
  • Support marketing by reporting data in SFDC (Data collection, competitor and customer activities) and execute marketing strategy
  • Manage relationships with Key Opinion Leaders
  • Prepare and negotiate price offers with distributors and buyers. Tender and contracts in collaboration with Manager supervision
  • Monitor and administer the Area (and Product Line) expense budgets to ensure control of costs. Grants, Congress, Locals Meeting
  • Responsible for inventory management (ordering, shipment, swap & scrap)
  • Create Sales Monthly reports outlining sales activities, product promotions, competition products and price, tenders, etc
  • Other duties assigned by Leadership

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related field required; Bioscience discipline (e.g. Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry) preferred
  • Minimum 8 years’ of Extensive medical sales/ marketing/ management experience with a proven ability in medical sales - preferably cardiac or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years’ of managerial sales experience in medical device industry (ICU product , sutures , surgical product)
  • Proven expertise in MS Office Suite
  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills   
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives
  • Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • Good organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines in an environment of competing priorities
