The key focus of this role is summarized as below:
Ø Title: sales manager China
Ø Territory Coverage: East, south and west China
Ø Business strategy: participates from the own perspective to the formulation of regional business strategy
Ø Sales plan: sets up the sales plan together with manager and, after consolidation in the annual sales plan, executes the sales plan and budgets for the designated area
Ø Marketing: monitors trends in business, market and customer requirements and potential clients, and delivers input to marketing, researchers and application specialists
Ø Account management: stimulates, develops and increases market demand for products and applications of the company’s products in the designated area, through optimal customer relations, in line with marketing plans.
Ø Distribution management : develop distributor capability in representing the company’s business and providing reliable logistic and supply chain service
Ø Sales: closes deals and ensures the execution of sales, sales support and after sales service (both technical and commercial) in the designated area, in line with commercial guidelines
Ø Forecasting: ensures an adequate and reliable sales forecast and provides additional market intelligence within the framework of the business strategy
Ø Credit control: ensures credibility control of (potential) customers and monitors and reports on payment behaviour, in close collaboration with desk sales/finance
Ø Client management system: makes sure that all essential data of the appointed clients is up-to-date and available in the commercial systems
Ø At least 8 years’ sales experience in food ingredient industry.
Ø Distributors Management experience.
Ø English working proficiency.
