Job Description

Job Purpose:
  • To actively support the Regional Financial Planning & Analysis Manager on all financial matters in relation to the capex and opex of the regional offices in the Asia Region
  • Internal and external controls
  • Assist, challenge, advise, support, and anticipate – build the appropriate business partnerships with Business & Finance teams globally, regionally, and locally.
Key Responsibilities:
  • The position provides support in analyses, financial advisory and insights into business performance and earnings, opex and capex management. Focus on added-value services and streamlining processes
  • Profitability and productivity scope 360 – by country by division and consolidated. By channel of distribution / point of sale and product category. The focus is qualitative profitability growth while never compromising on our brand equity
  • Promote project process flow improvements, actively provide feedback and propose best practice to enhance efficiency
  • Support in developing KPIs on various capex and opex measurement and highlight risk and opportunities for management
  • Support in developing budgets/latest estimates and analytical review on regional overheads, export and affiliate businesses
  • Support in developing guidelines, templates and management reports for all major reporting cycles
  • Support in cash flow planning and actual tracking on regional capex and opex
  • Actively involved in development of presentations for management and related business analysis · Provide ad hoc financial analysis as required by management


Person Specifications:
Academic / Professional Qualifications
  • University degree in Business Administration with major in Finance, Accounting, Management Systems, or Economics · Thorough knowledge of accounting / financial concepts and principles
Work Experience
  • Minimum 3 years working experience
  • Solid experience in the retail industry of F&BP / FA / W&FJ or project management a big plus
Required Competencies
  • Strong financial and analytical skills
  • Excellent PC skills, especially in MS Excel & MS PowerPoint. In addition, a genuine interest in learning systems and becoming a ‘power user’
  • Strong communication skills and ability to partner with financial and non-financial colleagues across all levels of management
  • Entrepreneur, motivated and driven – mentality is one of creative “solution provider” and not “problem giver”
  • Good command of written and spoken English. Mandarin speaking would be an advantage
