Job Description

  • Develops country/customer 4P strategy and tactics in line with respective head of key accounts, and building on global 4P strategy. 
  • Defines Category trade marketing KPIs
  • Defines and manages the trade marketing budget
  • Contributes to category marketing plans, with customer & category analysis and promotional strategy
  • Continuous analysis of the customer’s position, works together with the key account manager to recommend in store actions aimed at strengthening company’s position in the category.
  • Develops and implements company’s promotional strategy (in line with brand priorities and media plans) across customers.
  • Presenting on 4P strategy to our customers
  • Key contact for the brand marketing team with regards to all promotional and customer activity

Requirements

  • Degree holder in Business, Marketing or related disciplines
  • Prior trade marketing experience with a blue chip fast moving consumer goods company of at least 4-5 years, and preferably additional functional experience in either : Sales/Key Account function working with key international retailers, or brand marketing.
  • Results oriented, entrepreneurial and self-motivating.
  • Tenacious and resilient, driven to achieve even when faced with obstacles
  • Leadership and interpersonal skills capable of building strong working relationships and influencing and customers and internal teams.
  • Strong commercial understanding of business issues/opportunities.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral (in English).
  • Strong understanding of sales and marketing strategy and planning issues.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to develop strategies, tactics and measurable implementation. 
  • Fluency in English is essential. Fluency in other languages(s) is advantageous
