Job Description

  • Enable sales specialists and dealers (where relevant) in application expertise and go-to-market best practices in existing and future new products across the digital pathology line
  • PI product promotion directly to the end customers
  • Drive and assist with sales and industry exhibition support and demonstrations pertaining to Pathology Imaging.
  • Identify the most effective ways to build digital pathology market awareness through advisory boards, success stories, reference site development and other tactical plans
  • Update and manage for the customer request and information through regular visits
  • Promote the lead management with the assigned local distributor and internal sales team
  • Monitors and documents market data (overall market potential, dynamics, competitor performance, competitive marketing trends) for relevant markets
  • Develop product configurations relevant to market requirements and the development of suitable marketing materials that meet market needs
  • Continue to clarify and enhance the value proposition for the market including development of key support tools to help demonstrate our value proposition
  • Analyse and prioritize market needs, market potential, industry trends, and customer requests
  • Provide input/requirements to APAC SU marketing team to support the preparation of launch plans, sales support and training materials, in accordance with plan commitments
  • Resolve any tactical issues necessary in markets to facilitate ongoing business practice
  • Provide the sales and application training to APAC SU sales & marketing team

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in Sales and Marketing in Healthcare, Life Sciences/IT or related market desirable
  • Bachelor Degree in in Business, Marketing or Healthcare
  • Prior experience developing strategic marketing plans and launching new technologies into the market
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Successful track record in serving the market with a background that includes marketing strategy and market development; preferably with the disciplines of product management
  • Hands-on, roll up the sleeves, get out there and make it happen approach coupled with an collaborative style to engage sales and client services team members
  • Willing to spend a significant amount of time in the field, making calls with individual sales representatives, developing close relationships with customers, and personally identifying market trends and opportunities
  • Bilingual with proficiency in Mandarin preferred to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients
  • Travel up to 70% of the time
