Job Description

  • Plan and execute to schedule requirements and manage overtime while maintaining productivity
  • Achieve production line objectives measured by P vs A, yield, cost, quality and labour
  • Conduct department training to ensure compliance to procedure updates
  • Lead meetings with all direct reports and support groups in a professional manner
  • Ensure compliance to regulations (Eg. FDA/ OSHA)
  • Partner effectively with Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and Quality Assurance to monitor department quality and support corrective actions
  • Set department goals/expectations and provide performance feedback to employees
  • Lead/participate in daily production line meetings with support staff (engineers, planning, quality facilitate resolution of issues
  • Participate in Material Review Boards (MRB) for production disposition as needed
  • Champion management changes throughout the manufacturing process and will drive the incorporation of process improvements. Emphasis on culture grounded in mistake-proofing, continuous improvement, compliance to procedure and lean/5S principles


  • Singaporean Citizen or Permanent Resident only
  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering, preferably related to medical devices
  • Additional Degree in business management i.e. MBA will be advantageous
  • Excellent command of English both writing and speaking
  • PC Skill : Good Command of Microsoft Office applications and presentation
  • Possess 3-5 years’ relevant working experience in manufacturing plants. Prior exposure in medical devices industry is an advantage
  • Comfortable working shifts
  • Energized to contribute extra effort and work on his/ her own
  • Works independently without close supervision
  • Compares and evaluates possible courses of action after considering various possibilities
  • Applies his or her knowledge in following procedures or in determining which procedures to follow or determining whether specified standards are met
  • Determines or effectively recommends course of action after considering potential risks of alternatives
