Lifesciences Group Sales Manager, SEA

Company Description
Our client, a leading MNC in medical device industry, is looking for a Sales Manager, Lifesciences to lead the SEA sales team.
Establish and achieve an annual sales and profit plan as agreed with Area Manager, SEA
Forecast, monitor and control selling and other expenses for the Lifesciences Group SEA
Prepare accurate fortnightly and monthly sales forecasts for submission to Area Manager, SEA
Prepare Business Plan annually for approval by Area Manager, SEA
Work with local marketing team to develop strategic plans for the region as well coordinating activities such as market research and promotions
Ensure sales database is utilized efficiently and effectively across the business and is in compliance to assist in forecasting and business planning
Monitor, assist, set standards and evaluate distributor performance in SEA
Prepare, implement, coach and develop individuals in sales, and sales support teams and distributors to meet agreed individual and organizational targets and objectives for the region
Manage the recuitment, training, supervision, remuneration and separation of sales staff
Ensure an effective succession plan exists for key positions
Ensure the effective implementation of the Performance Management Program
Adequately supervise, manage and motivate staff, be they direct or indirect reports to build a strong cohesive team
Ensure the implementation and ongoing evaluation of staff standards for all divisional staff
Ensure that Lifesciences Group SEA team is complying to the company guidelines/practices/policies including FCPA
Member of the SEA Management team
Manage the Sales & Sales Support functions in Lifescience Group SEA
Ensure commitment to the company quality system among staff members
Action Performance Reports and ensure action is taken to prevent re-occurrence
Benchmark competition to ensure that Company quality standards are at industry leading levels
Ensure a high level of liaison with other Department heads and Company staff to ensure coordination of activities and understanding of common goals
Ensure that staff have good relations and communication with overseas staff to receive appropriate support
Build and maintain positive relationships both inside and outside the organization for the mutual benefit of Company and our customers
Manage relationships with key customers, industry bodies and opinion leaders
Ensure technical and applications support capabilities are at industry leading levels
Ensure that the Company commitment to customer satisfaction is achieved and constantly improved
Manage adequate levels of inventory and ensure demonstration equipment sharing and utilization
Requirements
Degree in Medical or Bioscience/Biomedical
Formal qualifications in management and marketing, preferably MBA
Strong business acumen
Attention to detail
Strong planning/organizing skills
Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
Proven ability to influence at all level
Strong leadership and team building skills
Positive, proactive approach to getting things done

Minimum 7 years proven successful experience in managing a sales team in the Clinical Diagnostics industry
Proven managerial/business unit exoerience
