Job Description

The Manager, Online Sales & Marketing will be responsible for company’s E-Commerce activity in Thailand, across Healthcare and Consumer Goods. 

  • Leading and developing a team of dedicated digital specialists, the Manager, Online Sales & Marketing will bring many of the world’s favorite brands to all key E-Commerce platforms, and continually deliver the best online shopping experience to consumers. 

E-Commerce Channel Management 

  • Responsible for end-to-end e-commerce customer experience, including merchandising and conversion management, order management, order fulfilment and after-sales service 
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and generate sales revenues on behalf of clients 
  • Proactively analyze sales trends, conduct analysis on sell through data, prepare various reports and monitor sales performance 
  • Liaise with e-commerce partners to understand category and brand performance across channels and advise on strategies to drive customer acquisition and customer value 
  • Collaborate with Client Management, Sales & Marketing and Finance teams to agree joint advertising and promotion plans, with demonstrable return on investment 
  • Formulate and execute digital marketing demand-generation initiatives including but not limited to on-site activity, social media, display, EDM, SEO and SEM 

E-Commerce Operations 

  • Responsible for the online store on a day-to-day basis (SKU assortment,  store content management, pricing and promotion management, sales order synchronization,) 
  • Manages inventory (ensures stock balancing online and offline channel) 
  • Manages promotional mechanism (bundles sets creation, discount promotion with marketplace e-commerce players) 
  • Assist in financial reconciliation supervision (accounts receivable and accounts payable) 

P&L Management 

  • Monitor sales performance vs approved A&P budget 
  • Accurate price and promotion maintenance in accordance to contractual terms 
  • Minimize avoidable cost & risk which impact P&L 
  • Regularly analyze trade returns and develop action plans to drive down returns or errors in delivery 
  • Execute trade claims recovery from clients within the contractual terms and full compliance of APMS in A&P control 

Business Development 

  • Work closely with Business Development and Client Management teams to develop e-commerce solution proposal that meet client needs 
  • Develop and manage a pipeline to acquire new online accounts, and nurture and grow existing company Digital client accounts 
  • Manage e-commerce partner relationships, such as with e-marketplaces, marketing agencies, payment processors, 3PL delivery partners 
  • Negotiate commercial and contractual terms with e-commerce partners 

Requirements

Functional skills and knowledge 

  • Knowledge of E-Commerce business models, operations, technology 
  • Experience managing E-Commerce channel 
  • Strong commercial skills 
  • Proficient Microsoft excel and word skills 

Soft skills  

  • Ability to Multitask and communicate clear and concisely 
  • Agile in implementing fast-paced online environment
  • Demonstrate ability to work and collaborate in team setting 
  • Proactive, responsible, organized and able to work independently  
  • Strong in critical thinking skills 
  • Good level of computer literacy 
  • Fluent written & verbal communication skills in English  

Education  

  • Bachelor’s Degree 

Work experience  

  • Preferably 5 Years work experience in E-Commerce industry
