Job Description

  • Contribute to and implement the HR policy and plans, in line with the relevant business strategy and requests from management
  • Attract, manage, coach, appraise and develop team, ensure personnel (succession) planning
  • Develop, manage and ensure realization of year plan/budget for the department and acquire approval in line with relevant strategy, policies and procedures
  • Ensure overall quality of local HR services and expertise, by means of personnel development, recruitment, retention, succession -and resource planning, (international) mobility and performance management to support the local business in line with internal standards
  • Project lead for regional personnel costs, compensation and benefits programs and activities, drive annual compensation and performance review
  • Support HR projects to implement new or improved systems, procedures and processes
  • Provide HR reports with correct and useful HR critical business indicators
  • Manage, coordinate and or improve administrative activities and systems in line with internal requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), preferably in human resources or a business-related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in human resources required, with minimum some years of regional experience
  • Comprehensive HR experience, including a complete understanding of all hands-on exposure to the full mix of HR functions
  • Experience in Union Management is a must
  • Strong in Human Resource Infrastructure and System, Total Rewards and Mobility
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal skills, critical and strategic thinker, and natural problem solver
  • Effective and collaborative communication and writing skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, follow instructions and possess an attention to detail and ability to work accurately  
  • High sense of urgency in providing strong level of service and follow-through
