About the Opportunity

Project Deployment: Overseas (Southeast Asia / South Asia)
Focus: Photovoltaic Cell Manufacturing
Employment Type: Permanent (Project-based overseas assignment)

As part of its regional solar manufacturing expansion, a leading photovoltaic cell producer is building new production capacity across Southeast Asia. The Process Engineering team will play a critical role in ensuring stable, high-yield, and scalable cell production from day one.

We are seeking Process Engineers with deep cell manufacturing expertise who are excited about overseas project deployment, hands-on optimization, and driving process excellence in new factories.

Key Responsibilities

Production Line Process Control & Stability

  • Own assigned photovoltaic cell process sections and ensure long-term stable operation

  • Manage daily verification, calibration, and correction of process parameters

  • Lead root-cause analysis and resolution of process abnormalities

Process Optimization & Improvement

  • Analyze production data and identify yield, efficiency, and cost improvement opportunities

  • Develop and execute process optimization and validation plans

  • Benchmark industry-leading process recipes and adapt them to local production conditions

  • Support introduction of new processes and define initial control limits and monitoring standards

Project Execution

  • Participate in overseas project setup including process transfer, line qualification, and ramp-up

  • Independently handle process changes, improvements, and validations on-site

  • Provide structured feedback and continuous improvement recommendations during mass production

Team Development (for Senior / Team Lead roles)

  • Guide and mentor engineers on process discipline and problem-solving

  • Support performance evaluation, skills development, and team capability building

  • Foster a strong on-site engineering culture focused on safety, data, and execution


Job Requirements

Requirements

Must-Have

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering or related field

  • 3+ years of experience in photovoltaic cell manufacturing

  • Strong understanding of crystalline silicon cell processes

  • Proven experience handling on-site process abnormalities and yield improvement

  • Willingness to relocate overseas for project deployment across Asia

Highly Preferred

  • TOPCon cell process experience

  • Experience in process transfer, ramp-up, or greenfield factory setup

  • Exposure to process characterization, testing, and data-driven optimization

  • Prior Southeast Asia or overseas project experience

  • Mandarin and English proficiency to communicate with China HQ and regional teams
