Role Overview

  • The Manager – Key Account Management ASEAN is a senior commercial leadership role responsible for developing and executing B2B sales strategies across ASEAN markets.

  • You will manage key OEM accounts, lead a sales team, and drive revenue growth by leveraging deep automotive industry knowledge and cross-functional collaboration.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee sales and marketing strategies, pricing structures, and promotional plans to meet agreed sales targets

  • Leverage market intelligence and competitive analysis to shape business direction and prepare strategic presentations

  • Identify hidden customer needs through in-depth analysis of the automotive industry landscape

  • Participate in business plan formulation including capital project development to optimize profitability

  • Conduct product and customer mix analyses including cost control, sales volume, pricing, and capacity planning

  • Support the development of joint ventures, affiliations, and partnership arrangements

  • Build and maintain professional relationships with key OEM customers and prospect new accounts across ASEAN

  • Prepare and manage the sales and marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective execution

  • Finalize sales contracts in compliance with company credit policies and support credit control processes

  • Lead the development of a market intelligence database covering trends, competitor grids, and benchmarking analyses

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities through structured market research

  • Plan and manage team structure, headcount, and development goals

  • Evaluate team performance, set priorities, provide coaching, and support succession planning

  • Review productivity and output quality data, implementing process improvements as needed


Job Requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or related field

  • 7+ years in B2B sales and marketing including managerial responsibilities, preferably within the automotive or chemical manufacturing industry

  • English (required) + Japanese and/or Chinese language skills (strong advantage)

  • Salesforce CRM, MS Office Suite; strong automotive industry and OEM sales knowledge
