Job Description

ROLE OVERVIEW 

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented Trade Support & Operations Executive to join our Bangkok-based team within the agricultural commodity trading industry.

  • This role is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of commodity trading contracts, ensuring contractual accuracy, regulatory compliance, and seamless coordination between trading, operations, and counterparties. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Contracts Management

  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of commodity trading contracts from drafting through execution and archival

  • Review and finalize purchase and sales contracts in line with agreed commercial terms and internal compliance policies

  • Ensure accuracy of contractual clauses relating to shipment periods, quality specifications, pricing mechanisms, payment terms, and delivery conditions

  • Coordinate with traders, legal teams, and counterparties to resolve contractual discrepancies and finalize documentation

  • Maintain systematic records of contracts, pricing recaps, amendments, and signed agreements within the contract management system

  • Monitor contract obligations and key milestones to ensure adherence to contractual timelines and conditions

  • Identify and escalate contractual risks, discrepancies, or potential disputes to relevant stakeholders

  • Provide contractual interpretation and support in resolving operational or commercial disputes

  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, company policies, and risk management guidelines

 

Trade Execution Support

  • Support the execution of commodity trades by coordinating with operations, logistics teams, agents, and shippers

  • Monitor shipment progress including vessel nomination, loading schedules, and delivery timelines

  • Follow up with counterparties and service providers for timely issuance of trade documentation (Bills of Lading, certificates, invoices, etc.)

  • Coordinate with finance teams to ensure proper invoicing, payment follow-ups, and settlement processes

  • Track shipment milestones and proactively highlight operational risks or delays

  • Maintain accurate documentation records to ensure transparency and audit readiness


Job Requirements

REQUIREMENTS 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma and above

  • Min. 2–3 years' relevant experience

  • Knowledge of commodity trading contracts

  • Familiarity with Incoterms & shipping documentation

  • Strong Microsoft Excel & Word skills
