Job Description

Lead the SEAP purchasing team to support regional business growth and align with global sourcing strategies.

Develop and expand supplier base in SEAP low-cost countries including Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Indonesia.

Define and implement commodity strategies to ensure long-term competitiveness and supply continuity.

Drive MCS (Material Continuous Saving) initiatives and lead cost reduction activities.

Improve cash flow through optimization of payment terms, inventory, and lead time.

Support NPI (New Product Introduction) to ensure sourcing readiness and successful product launches.

Support plant purchasing activities in Australia and collaborate with global teams for NA and EMEA requirements.

Monitor and improve supplier performance in delivery, quality, and cost.

Collect and analyze market intelligence to support sourcing decisions and risk management.

Ensure compliance with procurement policies, contracts, and ethical sourcing standards.
Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.

Minimum 10+ years of purchasing experience with leadership exposure.
-
Automotive industry background is mandatory (OEM or Tier 1 preferred).

Strong experience in supplier development and low-cost country sourcing.
-
Experience supporting global markets (NA/EMEA) is an advantage.

Strong negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

Fluent in English.
