Job Description

As a Sales Manager, Industrial Automation, you will be

  1. Responsible for identifying and creating automation solution opportunities across campaigns, services, and distribution channels to increase sales volume.
  2. Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company targets and present value-driven messaging to customers with a solutions selling approach.
  3. Developing, qualifying, and managing automation business opportunities from concept through to closure, working closely with internal teams to prepare technical and commercial proposals.
  4. Building and maintaining strong customer relationships is crucial, as is keeping an in-depth understanding of the industrial automation market, current trends, the competitive landscape, and enterprise use cases.
  5. You will collaborate with the team to develop solution proposals and stay informed on industrial, statutory, and regulatory requirements that may impact the business or open new opportunities.
  6. This position requires a proactive and strategic approach within a company that leads in advanced automation, precision engineering, and system integration, serving key industries such as electronics, semiconductor, and manufacturing.

Job Requirements

  1. Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics Engineering, Control, Instrumentation, or Mechatronics.
  2. 8-10 years of sales experience in industrial automation projects.
  3. Self-driven with a hunter mindset and proven ability to develop and maintain key customer relationships.
  4. Outstanding presentation and interpersonal communication skills, with strong initiative and drive.
  5. Goal-oriented, competitive, persuasive, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
  6. Good understanding of systems integration, industrial automation, IIoT, and manufacturing operation management systems.
  7. Experience in sales and proposal management for control systems such as PLC, SCADA, and DCS is an advantage.
  8. Strong industry knowledge and an established customer base in sectors such as Manufacturing, Commercial and Industrial Building, Healthcare, Utilities, Petrochemical, and Onshore/Offshore Oil & Gas.
