Job Description

The IDC Sales Manager will be responsible for driving business development and revenue growth for data centre and related infrastructure services in Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities for data centre (colocation, cloud, and managed services)
  • Build and manage relationships with enterprise clients, telcos, hyperscalers, and strategic partners
  • Develop go-to-market strategies and sales pipelines for IDC solutions
  • Lead end-to-end sales cycles including prospecting, proposal development, negotiation, and contract closure
  • Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to design customised solutions based on client requirements
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities
  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in data centres, cloud, telecom, or ICT solutions
  • Mandarin speaking is a MUST as this role will be reporting to Senior Mangement in China. 
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing large enterprise accounts
  • Strong understanding of data centre solutions (colocation, cloud, network, or managed services)
  • Established network within enterprise, telco, or government sectors is an advantage
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, regional environment
  • Mandarin proficiency is required to support cross-border stakeholders
