Job Description
You will own the full business development cycle — from identifying new MNC prospects and managing strategic accounts to driving specification-in, RFQ conversion, and revenue growth.
This is a senior individual-contributor role with leadership potential, requiring both deep technical credibility and strong commercial acumen.
- Drive new business acquisition and grow existing MNC accounts across semiconductor, automotive, HVAC, sectors in Penang and/or Johor Bahru.
- Lead end-to-end BD cycles — from opportunity identification and customer engagement to RFQ management, design-win, and programmed launch.
- Build and maintain senior-level relationships with procurement, engineering, and supply chain stakeholders at Tier-1 manufacturers and OEM customers.
- Develop and execute market entry strategies for new verticals, collaborating closely with internal engineering, operations, and pricing teams.
- Track and report pipeline health, revenue forecasts, and market intelligence to senior leadership; represent the company at industry events and customer visits across Malaysia and the region.
Job Requirements
- 8–15 years of B2B business development or key account management experience in precision engineering, semiconductor equipment, EMS, or industrial manufacturing.
- Proven track record of managing and growing MNC accounts, with experience in specification-in selling and long-cycle technical sales.
- Strong existing network with procurement and engineering decision-makers at MNCs in the semiconductor, automotive, or industrial sectors in Malaysia.
- Engineering or Business degree; commercially sharp with the ability to translate technical product capabilities into compelling value propositions.
