Job Description

  • Lead the DevOps and release management strategy for a global Salesforce Sales and Service implementation.
  • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps, Git, SFDX/sf CLI, validation deployments, automated testing, and quality gates.
  • Define and manage environment strategies, branching models, release governance, approval workflows, and rollback or hotfix procedures.
  • Troubleshoot deployment challenges, including metadata dependencies, test failures, and permission-related issues, while continuously improving deployment speed, reliability, and stability.
  • Establish and enforce DevOps best practices, including pull request (PR) policies, coding and deployment standards, secrets management, and deployment traceability.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a comparable qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps or Release Engineering, preferably supporting Salesforce implementations.
  • Proven hands-on experience designing and managing Salesforce CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps, Git, and SFDX/sf CLI.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python, with experience in build tools and artifact management.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Professional proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Willingness to travel internationally for business, up to 10% of the time.
