Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range strategic financial planning processes.

Commercial Finance Partnering: Collaborate with Sales and Marketing on pricing strategies, margin analysis, and commercial contract negotiations.

Corporate Governance: Oversee all accounting functions, including financial reporting, cash flow management, tax compliance, and audit preparation.

Capital Management: Optimize working capital, manage fundraising/debt facilities (if applicable), and evaluate ROI for R&D and capital expenditures (CapEx).

Supply Chain & Logistics: Oversee end-to-end operations, including procurement, sourcing, warehousing, and global distribution.

Inventory & COGS Optimization: Implement rigorous inventory controls (e.g., managing shelf-life, obsolescence reserves, and safety stock) to minimize write-offs and optimize gross margins.

Vendor Management: Negotiate and manage relationships with contract manufacturers (CMOs), logistics partners, and critical suppliers to ensure continuity of supply.

Systems & ERP Management: Maintain and scale the company’s ERP system to ensure seamless integration between financial data and operational inventory tracking.

Compliance Alignment: Work closely with the Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs (QA/RA) teams to ensure operations align with ISO 13485, FDA QSR (21 CFR Part 820), and other global standards.

Risk Mitigation: Establish internal controls to mitigate financial, operational, and supply chain risks (e.g., dual-sourcing strategies, product liability insurance).
Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Engineering. An MBA, CPA, or CMA is highly preferred.

Experience: 8+ years of progressive experience in finance and operations, with at least 3–5 years in the medical device, biotech, or pharmaceutical industry.

Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of medical device gross margins, standard costing, multi-channel distribution (direct sales, distributors, hospitals), and reimbursement landscapes.

Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and advanced financial modeling in Excel.

Leadership: Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams (Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics) and collaborating with technical/scientific stakeholders.
