-
Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations for service-level agreements (SLAs), pricing, payment terms, and volume discounts to lower the total cost of ownership without disrupting continuity.
-
Risk & Continuity Planning: Develop robust dual-sourcing strategies for critical materials to mitigate global supply chain bottlenecks or political disruptions.

Shelf-Life & FEFO Enforcement: Manage inventory using FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) principles rather than traditional FIFO to drastically reduce product obsolescence and write-offs.
-
Cold Chain Logistics: Supervise the storage conditions and movement of temperature-sensitive materials, ensuring total compliance with cold chain protocols and continuous data-logger tracking.
-
Demand Planning Integration: Collaborate with Sales, Production, and Finance to translate market demand forecasts into accurate material requirements planning (MRP).
-
Cycle Counting & Reconciliation: Lead physical inventory counts and cycle counting schedules, thoroughly investigating any stock variances between the physical floor and the ERP.
-
Traceability Assurance: Ensure 100% material traceability from raw materials to finished products, in compliance with track-and-trace laws (e.g., DSCSA).
-
Audit Readiness: Keep all procurement and inventory documentation organized and fully accessible for regulatory inspections (FDA, EMA, or local ministries of health).

Experience: 5+ years of procurement and inventory management experience, with at least 3 years inside a pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences company.
-
Technical Skills: Deep experience working inside a validated ERP system (such as SAP, NetSuite, or Oracle) with strong Material Requirements Planning (MRP) modules.
