Job Description

This is a key executive leadership role responsible for overseeing the full finance function while partnering closely with the CEO and senior leadership team to drive growth, operational excellence, and long-term value creation.

  1. Lead the overall finance agenda for the region, ensuring strong governance, financial discipline, and alignment with business objectives.
  2. Act as a strategic business partner to the CEO and executive team, providing financial insights to support growth, profitability, and operational performance.
  3. Oversee controllership, accounting, compliance, and reporting functions across multiple markets.
  4. Manage treasury operations, including cash flow, working capital, banking relationships, liquidity planning, and risk management.
  5. Support mergers and acquisitions, including financial due diligence, valuation analysis, integration planning, and post-deal execution.
  6. Contribute to strategic planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance management across the business.
  7. Drive continuous improvement in finance processes, controls, systems, and reporting capabilities.
  8. Partner with commercial, supply chain, and operations teams to improve decision-making and business outcomes.
  9. Support regional growth initiatives and ensure finance readiness for expansion into new markets.
  10. Provide leadership to finance teams across the region, building capability, accountability, and a high-performance culture.
  11. Where relevant, support IPO readiness, financial structuring, and associated governance requirements.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional accounting qualification such as CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent is strongly preferred.
  2. Minimum of 15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including several years in a CFO, Deputy CFO, Finance Director, or regional finance leadership role.
  3. Strong business partnering experience with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and support commercial decision-making.
  4. Proven expertise in controllership, financial reporting, compliance, internal controls, and governance.
  5. Solid treasury management experience, including cash management, liquidity planning, funding, and banking relationship management.
  6. Demonstrated M&A experience, including due diligence, transaction support, integration, and value creation.
  7. IPO experience is a strong advantage.
  8. Strong regional experience across the Middle East and/or APAC markets is highly desirable.
  9. Understanding of the FMCG or consumer goods industry is a plus.
  10. Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-entity, multinational, or high-growth environment.
  11. Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to build and develop high-performing finance teams.
  12. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.
  13. Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, commercial acumen, and a hands-on approach when required.
  14. Highly adaptable, resilient, and versatile with the ability to manage complexity and drive results across diverse markets.
