Job Description

  • Support the implementation and continuous enhancement of finance operating models and related finance systems.
  • Assist with the integration of automation and digital technologies into existing finance processes while contributing to the development of future-state solutions, including AI-enabled initiatives.
  • Perform data analysis and prepare reports to support management decision-making.
  • Provide support for routine financial reporting activities, including data validation, consolidation, and reconciliation.
  • Develop a strong understanding of finance operations and assist in implementing automation solutions to improve financial processes.
  • Work closely with the finance team and key stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute ideas to solution design and process improvements.
  • Document finance processes and prepare user guides and supporting documentation for automated solutions.
  • Assist in preparing consolidated financial reports, monitor country-level performance, and coordinate with local teams on report and presentation submissions.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
  • Knowledge of or exposure to automation, analytics, and digital tools such as Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, RPA, Python, Excel, and Copilot.
  • Candidates with strong IT, data, and AI capabilities, including knowledge of automation tools, SQL, APIs, or practical experience with generative AI, will have an added advantage.
  • Professional accounting qualifications or an equivalent certification are advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Preferably 3–4 years of experience in insurance, banking, or other industries, particularly in finance system or process implementation roles such as Business Analyst or PMO.
  • Exposure to IFRS 17 and/or IFRS 9 is preferred but not essential.
  • Good command of written and spoken English. Proficiency in Chinese is an added advantage.
