Job Description

  • Own product UI design from concept to prototype, ensuring clarity, usability, and localization for Malaysian and ASEAN users.
  • Translate product requirements into user flows, wireframes, high‑fidelity screens, and interaction specifications.
  • Redesign interfaces of mature products for English‑speaking users, adapting layouts, navigation, and workflows beyond simple translation.
  • Use AI tools (Figma Make, v0, Lovable, Bolt.new, Replit, Cursor, ChatGPT, Claude) to generate prototypes, UI variations, and frontend drafts for rapid validation.
  • Develop design systems including reusable components, typography, dashboards, and AI interaction states.
  • Collaborate with engineers to hand off specs, review implementation, and ensure design quality.
  • Create English UX copy for buttons, prompts, onboarding, and AI guidance text.
  • Support user validation through interviews, demos, and usability reviews, iterating based on feedback.
  • Ensure accessibility and responsive design for enterprise users in energy and education sectors.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of UI/product design experience in software, preferably B2B SaaS, enterprise dashboards, or AI products.
  • Strong Figma expertise including component libraries, prototyping, and design system maintenance.
  • A portfolio showcasing visual design, interaction logic, and workflow simplification.
  • Basic knowledge of frontend fundamentals (HTML, CSS, responsive layout, component‑based UI) for design‑to‑development handoff.
  • Practical experience with AI prototyping tools such as Figma Make, v0, Lovable, Bolt.new, Replit, Cursor, ChatGPT, Claude.
  • Strong English communication and UX writing skills for localized product interfaces.
  • Sensitivity to local culture and user needs in Malaysia and Southeast Asia.
  • Mandarin proficiency is valued but not required; strong cross‑cultural communication is equally welcome.
