Job Description

Job Role & Responsibilities 

  • This role will be report to Country Manager & Group Finance Lead, based in SEA - responsible in conducting and manage day-to-day accounting processes, including accounts payable, account receivable and month-end closing

  • Maintaining full sets of accounts, including the preparation of financial statements and monthly management accounts with variance analysis, withholding tax payment and monthly VAT filings

  • Lead the annual budgeting process in coordination with Heads of Department in forecasting, and cash flow planning to support growth initiatives

  • Track budget performance, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions, also with implementing in financial systems, processes, and internal controls

  • Oversees all related tax including VAT, withholding tax (WHT), and corporate income tax, to ensures compliance with Thai accounting standards and local tax laws

  • Oversee fee collection, billing cycles, refunds, and reconciliation

  • Oversee vendor payments, contracts, and procurement cost control

  • Manage the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies

  • Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decisions and business planning


Job Requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting or related fields
  • Minimum 10-12 years of working experience in finance or accounting; previous startup or scale-up experience is highly preferred
  • String understanding of the financial operations and reporting requirements in Thailand
  • Open minded and a strong team player - self-driven and committed individual 
  • Experience managing financial operations in growing or early-stage companies
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
