Job Description
The Director, Brand and Communications reports to the Global VP of Marketing and is responsible for elevating the brand equity and communications strategy across international markets, primarily Asia (including Japan) and Europe.
This key leadership role drives the creation and execution of comprehensive brand and communication plans that enhance the company's market presence.
The successful candidate will be a seasoned brand or media professional with a proven track record of developing impactful campaigns for pre-IPO companies.
Core responsibilities include:
- Defining and leading brand vision and positioning, championing brand consistency across all touchpoints, cultivating media relationships
- Managing public relations especially around IPO announcements, and overseeing social media strategies to boost share of voice and engagement.
- The role also entails crisis management leadership, performance tracking of brand metrics, and ensuring alignment of internal and external messaging with corporate objectives.

Job Requirements
- 8-10 years of proven experience in brand management, public relations, or corporate communications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with proficiency in leveraging AI tools to enhance work effectiveness.
- Deep understanding of emerging market trends, digital and traditional media landscapes.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute brand and communications campaigns that increase brand equity, particularly in pre-IPO environments.
- Experience managing international brand and communications programs, especially in Asia (including Japan) and Europe.
- Strong media relations skills with success securing Tier One and trade media coverage.
- Proven crisis management experience with the ability to lead rapid response strategies to protect company reputation.
- Capability to monitor, analyze, and report on brand awareness, PR metrics, social engagement, and campaign ROI.
