Overview

A fully proficient individual contributor and recognised subject matter expert, working with a high degree of independence. You will lead large projects that deliver operational targets and have a significant impact on function results. The role may include setting day-to-day objectives for the team, directing workflow, and coaching and reviewing the work of less experienced professionals. Problems faced are difficult and often complex.

 

Key Responsibilities

Strategy and Business Growth

  • Identify, position and champion the company's value proposition to prospective customers
  • Drive initiatives and strategy to achieve assigned business objectives
  • Develop and implement the business strategy for each core activity to increase market awareness and share
  • Grow the existing business and build a new business portfolio to meet set objectives
  • Support annual budgeting and performance tracking of core activities

 

Partnerships and Customer Relationships

  • Identify, review and establish partnerships with key vendors to support the business model and growth
  • Build strong customer relationships at all levels

 

Sales and Marketing

  • Lead face-to-face and remote sales to new and existing customers
  • Assess customer needs and recommend suitable products, services and solutions
  • Plan, develop and deliver the marketing strategy for products, services and associated brands
  • Manage the product and brand P&L, including budgeting, expenditure, profitability and ROI
  • Provide customer support where required, including product and pricing information and resolution of billing, delivery and complaint issues

Job Requirements

Requirements

Essential

  • Diploma or Degree in a related discipline
  • Minimum 8 years of experience selling and developing a Solutions / Systems Integration business portfolio
  • Prior experience with government tenders and bids
  • Strong problem solving in a sales environment, including the ability to qualify and close deals

Preferred

  • Regional experience across Southeast Asia
  • Experience working with government and/or FSI clients
  • Domain knowledge in Biometrics, Identity Management, or Public Safety and Security
