Role overview
The Store Manager leads boutique performance and a team of approximately 40 employees at either ICONSIAM in Bangkok. This role is accountable for delivering outstanding, personalized client experiences while driving commercial results and maintaining the Maison’s high standards of service, presentation and operational excellence. The successful candidate is a dynamic, proactive and commercially driven leader who can respond effectively to the needs of a diverse luxury clientele and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead boutique performance: Set clear priorities and lead the team to achieve business objectives, monitor performance and identify opportunities to improve results.
- Deliver exceptional client experience: Champion personalized, discreet and consistent service; build lasting relationships with local and international clients; and ensure client needs are handled with care.
- Lead and develop the team: Manage, coach and motivate approximately 15 employees; support onboarding, ongoing development, performance feedback and succession planning.
- Drive commercial excellence: Translate business priorities into effective daily actions, strengthen selling practices and support the team in serving clients across product categories.
- Oversee boutique operations: Maintain high standards for boutique presentation, daily routines, stock handling, security and compliance with company procedures.
- Represent the Maison: Protect Louis Vuitton’s values, heritage and image in all client and team interactions, ensuring a consistent luxury experience.
- Collaborate effectively: Work with relevant local and regional stakeholders to support boutique operations, client service and business priorities.
- Review and improve: Use business and client feedback to identify issues, take timely action and continuously improve team and boutique performance.
First 3–6 months and confirmation measures
During the initial 3–6 months, the Store Manager is expected to establish strong team leadership, understand the boutique’s clients and business priorities, and deliver consistent operational standards. Confirmation will be assessed against agreed business and service objectives, including:
- Effective leadership, engagement and development of the approximately 15-person team.
- Progress against boutique business objectives and relevant performance indicators agreed with the company.
- Consistent delivery of Louis Vuitton client experience standards, including personalized service for local and international clientele.
- Strong operational discipline, boutique presentation and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize, respond proactively to challenges and collaborate with stakeholders.

Requirements
- Substantial experience in retail management, preferably in luxury fashion, premium retail or another high-touch client-focused environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and develop a team, ideally in a boutique or similarly complex retail setting.
- A strong commercial mindset, with experience monitoring business performance and turning objectives into practical team actions.
- Excellent client-service skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with high-net-worth clients, expatriates and international visitors.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to lead by example and uphold demanding service standards.
- Well-developed organizational and problem-solving skills; able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Sound understanding of retail operations, including boutique presentation, stock processes, security and policy compliance.
- Professional presence, integrity and a genuine appreciation for craftsmanship, design and the luxury client experience.
- Fluency in English and Thai is preferred; additional languages relevant to international clientele are an advantage.
- Availability to work a retail schedule, including weekends and public holidays, as required by boutique operations.
