Job Description

  • Joins the company's growing Asia design team to own connector and cable design projects, from product scope to manufacturable, qualified products. High-speed cable work makes up more than half of the team's projects. Reports to the regional engineering manager in Taiwan. Based in Bundang, Seongnam.

Requirement

  • Own connector and cable assembly design projects
  • Apply tolerance analysis and design for manufacture (stamping, moulding, plating, assembly)
  • Drive qualification and validation with product, manufacturing and quality teams
  • Resolve development and quality issues

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of design experience in connectors, precision parts or wider manufacturing
  • CAD proficiency (SolidWorks preferred; AutoCAD and others accepted)
  • Engineering-level English; willingness to learn
  • Eligible to work in Korea

Preferred

  • MCIO, high-speed cable or Type-C connector design
  • FEA or thermal simulation
  • BS in mechanical or electrical engineering
