Job Description

  1. Provide technical solutions for both new and existing corporate customers, specifically in train-borne systems such as CCTV, PA, PABX, and Information Display Systems, as well as broader communication and IT infrastructure.
  2. Lead complex solution proposals and project implementations involving multi-vendor technologies and coordination across internal teams and 3rd parties.
  3. Develop project strategies in collaboration with solution architects and product teams by aligning technical solutions with key customer objectives and business drivers.
  4. Prepare and deliver value-based solution proposals including documentation, technical presentations, and proof-of-concept (PoC) demonstrations to validate feasibility and gain stakeholder buy-in.
  5. Oversee the selection of technologies and estimate resources required to deliver proposed solutions; articulate technical trade-offs, risks, and advantages of different approaches.
  6. Communicate the business impact and value of the proposed solutions to clients, emphasizing alignment with their operational goals and ROI.
  7. Manage customer relationships by addressing technical queries, communicating solution frameworks, and resolving pre-sales concerns and issues.
  8. Support business development by assisting sales and pre-sales teams in identifying opportunities, drafting proposals, and contributing to tender submissions.
  9. Work closely with project delivery teams to validate solution design during implementation, provide technical oversight, and refine architecture as needed.

Job Requirements

  1. Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
  2. Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience, including hands-on experience with enterprise architecture consulting, client interviews, solution reviews, and stakeholder alignment.
  3. Proven track record in pre-sales activities including solution design, proposal writing, and client presentations, particularly for large-scale tender bids.
  4. Skilled in estimating manpower, project cost, and timelines for complex tenders and proposals.
  5. Strong experience integrating both in-house developed technologies and 3rd-party hardware/software solutions in system design.
  6. Confident in engaging with senior technical decision-makers and discussing topics around architecture strategy, digital agility, and business value.
  7. Familiarity with Singapore government procurement processes and security standards is an advantage.
  8. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse stakeholders.
  9. Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative mindset, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams in high stakes project environments.
