Job Description
As a Sales Manager, Industrial Automation, you will be
- Responsible for identifying and creating automation solution opportunities across campaigns, services, and distribution channels to increase sales volume.
- Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company targets and present value-driven messaging to customers with a solutions selling approach.
- Developing, qualifying, and managing automation business opportunities from concept through to closure, working closely with internal teams to prepare technical and commercial proposals.
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships is crucial, as is keeping an in-depth understanding of the industrial automation market, current trends, the competitive landscape, and enterprise use cases.
- You will collaborate with the team to develop solution proposals and stay informed on industrial, statutory, and regulatory requirements that may impact the business or open new opportunities.
- This position requires a proactive and strategic approach within a company that leads in advanced automation, precision engineering, and system integration, serving key industries such as electronics, semiconductor, and manufacturing.
Job Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics Engineering, Control, Instrumentation, or Mechatronics.
- 8-10 years of sales experience in industrial automation projects.
- Self-driven with a hunter mindset and proven ability to develop and maintain key customer relationships.
- Outstanding presentation and interpersonal communication skills, with strong initiative and drive.
- Goal-oriented, competitive, persuasive, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Good understanding of systems integration, industrial automation, IIoT, and manufacturing operation management systems.
- Experience in sales and proposal management for control systems such as PLC, SCADA, and DCS is an advantage.
- Strong industry knowledge and an established customer base in sectors such as Manufacturing, Commercial and Industrial Building, Healthcare, Utilities, Petrochemical, and Onshore/Offshore Oil & Gas.
