Job Description

  • The firm is seeking an Operations Consultant to join its Performance Improvement practice in Seoul as a firm-wide operations resource. The successful candidate will deploy across client-facing project teams, delivering operational transformation engagements for corporate and PE-backed clients spanning multiple sectors.
  • This is an execution-oriented role: the candidate is expected to own structured improvement workstreams, drive measurable progress against cost, process, and operational performance targets, and engage directly with client operational counterparts from early tenure. The role offers exposure to diverse mandate types — including corporate performance improvement, infrastructure/capital project advisory, and PE value creation — within a flat, meritocratic environment that rewards delivery over tenure.

Job Requirements

Requirement:

  • Minimum 2–4 years in an operations-focused consulting role (management consulting, operational advisory, or equivalent industry function)
  • Demonstrated ownership of at least one structured improvement workstream: supply chain optimisation, procurement/strategic sourcing, manufacturing or process re-engineering, working capital management, or cost structure redesign
  • Strong Excel-based financial and operational modelling capability; ability to own cost-benefit analysis and KPI tracking frameworks
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, client-immersive environment; willingness to travel domestically as required
  • Korean language fluency required; English proficiency (written and verbal) required for internal reporting and cross-border collaboration

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in engineering, business administration, economics, or a quantitative discipline from a recognised institution
  • Minimum 2–4 years of consulting or operations advisory experience with demonstrable implementation outcomes
  • Native-level Korean Fluency is required

Preferred:

  • Exposure to industrial or capital-intensive sectors: engineering and construction (EPC), shipbuilding, offshore energy, manufacturing, chemicals, or automotive
  • Experience in PE-backed client engagements or within a PE portfolio company's operational function
  • STEM or Industrial Engineering academic background; Six Sigma / Lean certification (Green Belt or above), PMP, or APICS/CSCP credentials
  • MBA or postgraduate qualification (not required; valued if combined with operational delivery track record)
