Senior Manager, AI Transformation Lead

With a strong commitment to service excellence, trusted advice, and innovation, the organization is seeking a AI Transformation Manager to drive enterprise-wide artificial intelligence transformation and unlock meaningful business value across the customer lifecycle, operations, and distribution channels.

In this strategic leadership role, you will define and execute the AI transformation agenda, identify high-impact use cases, and translate business needs into scalable AI-enabled solutions. You will partner closely with senior stakeholders across business, technology, risk, compliance, and operations to embed AI into core processes, improve customer experience, enhance productivity, and support sustainable growth. The role will also be responsible for building AI governance practices, promoting responsible AI adoption, and enabling organizational readiness through change management and capability building.

You will lead cross-functional teams to prioritize and deliver AI initiatives from concept to deployment, ensuring alignment with business strategy, regulatory expectations, and enterprise architecture standards. This includes evaluating emerging AI technologies, managing external vendors and partners, overseeing pilot-to-scale transitions, and measuring business outcomes. The successful candidate will be a strong communicator and transformation leader with a balance of strategic thinking, execution discipline, and stakeholder management expertise.

  1. AI Strategy & Roadmap — Develop and lead the company-wide AI transformation roadmap, identifying and prioritizing high-impact use cases across all business functions aligned to strategic objectives.
  2. Business Case & Delivery — Work with senior leaders to convert business challenges into AI-driven opportunities, overseeing initiatives from ideation and pilot execution through to enterprise-wide scaling.
  3. Governance & Compliance — Establish frameworks, policies, and controls to ensure ethical, secure, and compliant AI use across the organization.
  4. Technology & Vendor Management — Partner with technology teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems, and manage relationships with external vendors, consultants, and solution providers.
  5. Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management — Lead communication and change management efforts to drive adoption, while tracking and reporting transformation progress, value realization, and KPIs to leadership.
  6. Capability Building & Innovation Culture — Build AI literacy across business teams through coaching and knowledge-sharing, monitor emerging trends and competitor activities, and foster a culture of responsible innovation and experimentation.

Job Requirements

Requirements

  1. Education & Experience — Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (postgraduate an advantage), with minimum 10 years of progressive experience in transformation, digital strategy, AI, data/analytics, or related leadership roles.
  2. Industry & Domain Knowledge — Proven track record leading enterprise transformation in financial services, insurance, banking, or regulated industries, with familiarity in insurance operations, underwriting, claims, or distribution enablement highly desirable.
  3. AI & Technology Expertise — Strong understanding of AI, machine learning, generative AI, automation, and data-driven decision-making, with familiarity in data platforms, cloud environments, and enterprise architecture as an added advantage.
  4. Business Acumen & Delivery — Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, build compelling business cases, and deliver measurable value through technology-enabled solutions in complex, multi-priority environments.
  5. Governance & Risk Management — Solid knowledge of AI governance, risk management, privacy, compliance, and responsible AI principles, combined with strong program management skills to drive delivery effectively.
  6. Leadership & Stakeholder Influence — Experienced in managing cross-functional teams, engaging senior executives, working with vendors and partners, and communicating complex concepts clearly to non-technical audiences to drive alignment and adoption.
