Job Description

The FFKM Materials Advisory Consultant will lead the company's pre-commercialisation effort to enter the semiconductor FFKM materials market. Reporting directly to group-level senior leadership, the adviser will conduct technical and market feasibility assessments, facilitate structured knowledge transfer on FFKM compounding and production processes, and leverage an established industry network to initiate commercial dialogue with semiconductor fabs and equipment manufacturers. This is a high-impact, greenfield advisory mandate with broad strategic scope, suited to a seasoned FFKM specialist who can operate with autonomy and authority across both technical and business dimensions. Initial engagement is structured as a short-term advisory contract, with the potential for expanded scope upon validation of commercialisation.


Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Map FFKM product demand across domestic and international semiconductor fabs and major equipment OEMs; identify commercially viable market entry points
  • Conduct a structured technical download on FFKM compounding, product development, and semiconductor application requirements by process type
  • Assess the company's existing manufacturing capabilities against FFKM commercialisation requirements; produce a structured gap analysis
  • Facilitate introductory engagement with target demand-side stakeholders — fab procurement, process engineering teams, and equipment OEM technical contacts
  • Support the development of a business case and market entry roadmap for full-scale FFKM commercialisation

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in FFKM or fluoropolymer materials, with direct involvement in compounding, product development, or technical sales to semiconductor customers
  • Demonstrated technical fluency in semiconductor fab process environments and FFKM application standards (O-ring sealing, plasma resistance, chemical compatibility)
  • Prior employment or sustained commercial engagement with leading FFKM producers (DuPont Kalrez, Daikin, Greene Tweed, VALQUA, 3M Dyneon, or Korean equivalents)
  • Bachelor's degree or above in polymer science, materials engineering, chemical engineering, or a related field
