Job Description

  • Draft, review, and manage contracts with government agencies and commercial clients, ensuring compliance with tender requirements and performance obligations
  • Own the maintenance and renewal of all regulatory licenses including toxic industrial waste, hazardous substance, and transport approvals
  • Advise HR on employment law matters — Employment Act, EFMA, MOM Fair Consideration Framework, and Progressive Wage Model compliance
  • Serve as or oversee the company's Data Protection Officer under Singapore's PDPA
  • Develop and implement an anti-bribery and corporate governance framework aligned to Singapore's Prevention of Corruption Act and international governance standards
  • Monitor regulatory developments across NEA, MOM, and PDPC and assess operational impact

Job Requirements

  • 6-10 years of legal or compliance experience, minimum 3 years in-house
  • Strong working knowledge of Singapore contract law, employment law, PDPA, and the Prevention of Corruption Act
  • Familiarity with NEA regulatory frameworks (toxic industrial waste, hazardous substance licensing) is a strong advantage
  • Experience operating as a sole or lead in-house counsel, a self-starter who can build without a playbook
  • LLB or equivalent; Singapore Bar admission preferred, strong compliance profiles without bar admission will be considered
  • Background in a regulated, operations-heavy industry (utilities, infrastructure, FM, logistics, or construction) is highly relevant
