Job Description

- Design, employ, and manage LAN/WAN and wireless systems to ensure reliable connectivity for MES, PLCs, and loT devices.

- Implement firewalls, VPNs, segmentation, and protocols to protect IT/OT systems while ensuring compliance with standards like ISO/SAE 21434, NIST, and GDPR.

- Lead and mentor the network engineers, collaborate with the internal teams and external vendors, and manage contracts and SLAs with service providers.

- Monitoring & troubleshooting by using tools such as Cisco Prime or SolarWinds to monitor performance, proactively resolve issues, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend improvements.

- Monitor factory upgrades, expansions, and the commissioning  of new factories, coordinate with the cross-functional teams and document the organizational structure, policies, and change processes.


Job Requirements

  • Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field.

  • Work Experience:
    5+ years of network administration experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial position.
    Preference will be given to candidates with an automotive/manufacturing industry background.
  • Technical Expertise:
    Proficient in TCP/IP, routing, VLAN, QoS, VPN, and firewalls.
    Familiarity with industrial network protocols such as Modbus, Profinet, and Ethernet/IP is preferred.

  •  Preferred Certifications:
    - CCNP/CCIE
    - CompTIA Network+ or Security+
    - ITIL Foundation
    - ISA/IEC 62443 or equivalent OT network security knowledge
