Job Description
- Assume end-to-end technical accountability for advanced deposition platforms, specifically Novellus Altus and Centura CVD WXZ systems.
- Spearhead initiatives to maximize tool availability, reliability, and production throughput.
- Investigate and resolve equipment faults spanning vacuum, RF, gas delivery, and temperature control subsystems.
- Apply SPC charts and fault analysis techniques to pinpoint underlying failure mechanisms and close them out with permanent fixes.
- Partner with process engineers to uphold film deposition quality standards, including thickness uniformity and defect density targets.
- Surface recurring equipment issues and engineer robust, scalable solutions that prevent reoccurrence.
- Champion efficiency improvement projects aimed at minimizing unplanned downtime and strengthening overall fab output.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, or a cognate discipline.
- At least 5 years of hands-on equipment engineering experience within a CVD or PVD module in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
- Deep working knowledge of Chemical Vapor Deposition processes, including WXZ and WWEB chemistries, vacuum systems, and pump technologies.
- Demonstrated platform experience on Novellus Altus and Centura CVD WXZ tools.
- Sound analytical capability in SPC methodologies and structured fault investigation.
