Engineering Service Manager (O&G and Semicon)

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Engineering Service Manager (O&G and Semicon) to lead engineering, product design, R&D, and process development functions within a Singapore-based provider of fluid system components and services. The company supports demanding industries such as oil and gas, chemical, semiconductor, and related process sectors with reliable, safe, and high-performance solutions.

In this leadership role, you will be responsible for shaping the company’s engineering and innovation roadmap, driving advanced tooling and manufacturing capabilities, and ensuring the development of market-leading products and solutions. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, customers, and technology partners to deliver high-performance tooling systems and improve operational excellence across the business.

This role requires strong technical depth, strategic thinking, and proven leadership across engineering organizations in advanced manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead engineering, product design, R&D, and process development teams to deliver high-quality, innovative, and commercially viable solutions.
  2. Develop and execute the company’s engineering and innovation roadmap in alignment with business growth and customer requirements.
  3. Collaborate with customers, sales teams, and application engineers to develop high-performance tooling solutions that meet application-specific needs.
  4. Establish engineering standards, validation processes, and quality systems to ensure consistency, reliability, and technical excellence.
  5. Manage technology partnerships, intellectual property, and technical due diligence for strategic projects and acquisitions.
  6. Mentor and develop a high-performance engineering organization with strong technical capabilities and a culture of continuous improvement.
  7. Support strategic business objectives through technical leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and effective execution of innovation programs.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Production, or Materials Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
  2. 7-10+ years of experience in cutting tools, precision tooling, or advanced manufacturing industries.
  3. Minimum 5 years in senior engineering leadership roles.
  4. Proven ability to define and execute engineering strategies, innovation roadmaps, and product development plans.
  5. Experience collaborating with customers and commercial teams to develop application-specific engineering solutions.
  6. Familiarity with engineering standards, validation, quality systems, and technical documentation practices.
  7. Experience managing strategic partnerships, technology evaluation, and technical due diligence for corporate projects or acquisitions.
  8. Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
  9. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-performance environment with strong business acumen and a customer-focused mindset.
