Job Description
We are seeking a driven and commercially focused Sales Manager to lead business development efforts and grow market presence across Singapore’s chemical, refinery, and related industrial sectors. This role is ideal for a hands-on sales professional with a strong hunter mindset, excellent relationship-building skills, and proven experience in managing complex project-based sales within construction or industrial environments.
- Drive business development and sales growth across the chemical, refinery, and related industrial sectors in Singapore.
- Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities with contractors, developers, consultants, and end users.
- Build and maintain a strong network within the Singapore industrial and construction ecosystem.
- Manage sales opportunities from lead generation through to proposal, negotiation, closing, and handover.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely, accurate, and professional support to customers.
- Support project coordination and execution by aligning customer requirements with product and service delivery.
- Deliver presentations, sales updates, and management reports with clarity and confidence.
- Represent the company professionally in client meetings, site visits, and industry engagements.
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and project developments in the chemical and refinery sectors.
- Contribute to long-term account growth by developing trusted customer relationships and repeat business.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Business, Sales, or a related field.
- Proven sales and business development experience, preferably within industrial, chemical, refinery, construction, or fluid systems-related markets.
- Strong hunter mindset with a track record of generating new business and opening new accounts.
- Existing network with contractors, developers, consultants, or industrial stakeholders in Singapore is highly preferred.
- Strong project management experience, ideally gained from construction projects or project-based sales environments.
- Exposure to chemical and refinery projects or customers is highly desirable.
- Hands-on, proactive, and self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and articulation skills, with confidence in sales meetings and management presentations.
- Ability to build rapport quickly and influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Product training will be provided; however, the ideal candidate should demonstrate strong learning agility and curiosity.
