Job Description

We are seeking a driven and commercially focused Sales Manager to lead business development efforts and grow market presence across Singapore’s chemical, refinery, and related industrial sectors. This role is ideal for a hands-on sales professional with a strong hunter mindset, excellent relationship-building skills, and proven experience in managing complex project-based sales within construction or industrial environments.

  1. Drive business development and sales growth across the chemical, refinery, and related industrial sectors in Singapore.
  2. Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities with contractors, developers, consultants, and end users.
  3. Build and maintain a strong network within the Singapore industrial and construction ecosystem.
  4. Manage sales opportunities from lead generation through to proposal, negotiation, closing, and handover.
  5. Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely, accurate, and professional support to customers.
  6. Support project coordination and execution by aligning customer requirements with product and service delivery.
  7. Deliver presentations, sales updates, and management reports with clarity and confidence.
  8. Represent the company professionally in client meetings, site visits, and industry engagements.
  9. Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and project developments in the chemical and refinery sectors.
  10. Contribute to long-term account growth by developing trusted customer relationships and repeat business.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Business, Sales, or a related field.
  2. Proven sales and business development experience, preferably within industrial, chemical, refinery, construction, or fluid systems-related markets.
  3. Strong hunter mindset with a track record of generating new business and opening new accounts.
  4. Existing network with contractors, developers, consultants, or industrial stakeholders in Singapore is highly preferred.
  5. Strong project management experience, ideally gained from construction projects or project-based sales environments.
  6. Exposure to chemical and refinery projects or customers is highly desirable.
  7. Hands-on, proactive, and self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently.
  8. Excellent communication and articulation skills, with confidence in sales meetings and management presentations.
  9. Ability to build rapport quickly and influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
  10. Product training will be provided; however, the ideal candidate should demonstrate strong learning agility and curiosity.
