Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, commercially driven Senior Wealth Manager to join a specialist capital markets advisory firm supporting growth companies on their journey to public listing. This is a hands-on, business development-focused role operating in a greenfield environment, where you will help build the client base from scratch and play a key part in attracting investors to IPO projects.

The successful candidate will leverage an established network across high-net-worth (HNW) individuals, family offices, corporate clients, and capital markets contacts to originate new business, develop investor relationships, and support the firm’s growth strategy. You will work closely with leadership to identify opportunities, create market interest, and position IPO opportunities effectively to suitable investors.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Drive business development activity to build and expand the client base in a greenfield environment.
  2. Leverage existing HNW, corporate, and investor networks to source new opportunities.
  3. Identify and engage prospective investors for IPO-related projects and capital markets opportunities.
  4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, investors, and strategic partners.
  5. Support the promotion and positioning of growth companies preparing for public listing.
  6. Work with internal stakeholders to align investor outreach with strategic listing objectives.
  7. Generate leads, manage a sales pipeline, and convert opportunities into active mandates.
  8. Represent the firm professionally in meetings, networking events, and investor discussions.
  9. Provide market feedback and insight to support business strategy and client acquisition.
  10. Contribute to the development of a scalable wealth and investor origination platform.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in business development, wealth management, private banking, banking sales, corporate finance, or a closely related field.
  2. Strong existing network among HNW individuals, corporate clients, investors, or relevant market participants.
  3. Demonstrated ability to originate new business and build relationships from scratch in a greenfield setting.
  4. Experience attracting and engaging investors, ideally in IPO, capital markets, or growth-company environments.
  5. Commercially minded with a strong track record of meeting revenue or acquisition targets.
  6. Excellent relationship management, communication, and presentation skills.
  7. Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision.
  8. High level of professionalism, credibility, and discretion when dealing with high-value clients.
