Job Description

  • Manage end-to-end sourcing activities, including RFQ, supplier selection, commercial negotiation, contract management, and supplier onboarding.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with global suppliers to ensure competitiveness in cost, quality, delivery, and service.
  • Identify, qualify, and develop new suppliers while driving supplier capability improvement and localization initiatives.
  • Monitor supplier performance and implement continuous improvement plans to enhance quality, delivery, cost, and responsiveness.
  • Lead cost reduction initiatives through commercial negotiations, VA/VE, resourcing, benchmarking, and should-cost analysis.
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by ensuring supplier readiness, timely sourcing, and successful project execution.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product Management, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Sales to support business objectives.
  • Monitor market trends, raw material indices, and supply risks to develop effective sourcing strategies and maintain supply continuity.
  • Coordinate supplier activities to support export requirements and ensure compliance with company sourcing policies and procurement governance.
  • Resolve supplier-related commercial, quality, and delivery issues while driving long-term supplier performance improvement.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in strategic sourcing, commodity purchasing, or supplier development within the automotive or manufacturing industry.
  • Experience in aftermarket products or high-mix, low-volume manufacturing is an advantage.
  • Strong negotiation, supplier development, and cost analysis skills.
  • Experience managing sourcing projects and supplier qualification processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Good command of spoken and written English.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Flexible to work across multiple time zones to support global stakeholders.
