Job Description

  • Oversee daily finance operations across the Group.
  • Review and analyze weekly group cash flow.
  • Prepare and review monthly management and consolidated accounts, analyzing actual performance against budget.
  • Ensure compliance with standard operating and accounting procedures for daily payments (contractors, consultants, overhead) and petty cash (office expenses).
  • Verify inter-company, contractor, and supplier invoices for compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare, update, and review project feasibility assessments.
  • Provide financial numbers and analysis for business planning purposes.
  • Monitor and review invoices, outstanding balances, and interest calculations for money lending and leasing activities.
  • Enhance internal control measures within Newfields Group.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and tax requirements, including tax computation, return submission, SST computation, and Housing Development Act compliance.
  • Coordinate with auditors for statutory audits and tax agents for tax submissions.
  • Manage treasury functions, including liaison with bankers and handling relevant documents.
  • Support Group MD with ad-hoc assignments as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Professional degree (e.g., ACCA/CPA/MICPA) and registered Chartered Accountant with MIA
  • Able to speak in Mandarin (Basic level)
  • Minimum 8 to 10 years of relevant business experience, with at least 2 years in leadership roles
  • Experience in the property/construction industry is advantageous
